Like An Airplane
Like an airplane, bravely take off,
Reaching your goal, with much passion;
Endure the storm, the turbulence,
The rugged air, and affliction.
Don't take a plunge, or a nosedive,
Like a dropping, crashing aircraft;
Don't fall headfirst, as you descend,
Just be steady, during the draft.
Let your wings glide, in vile weather,
Stay strong and firm, against the wind;
Touch the safe ground, the landing lot,
Get set in flight, soar once again.
Look at the earth, the world below,
While you're above, in the wide lane;
Now you are up, later you're down,
Life is risk-fraught, like an airplane.
