Like a Time-Lit Bomb

My life is a torrent of darkness,
Shadowed as a cloudy sea.
My boat is dead in the violent storm,
Then sinks, pulled down with me.
I struggle against icy waves
And am swallowed by deathly currents.
I want to scream but I can’t.
Blackness binds me in awful caves.
I struggle and gasp,
Then find it’s no use.
My mouth is tied shut,
Someone’s cruel ruse.
Then, out of nowhere,
All is silent, all is calm.
My stomach drops horribly,
Like a time-lit bomb.
…….
My life is a torrent of darkness,
Shadowed as a cloudy sea.
I was swallowed alive by the waves.
No one know it, not even me.
I sit in the calm,
My mouth still tied shut,
Gazing into hopeless despair.
My life is a torrent of darkness.
