Like a Thief In the Night

Like A Thief In The Night

He looks intently into the vast domain of things
Looks inside the human heart filled with evil schemes
Watches for one to open up the door a chance to explore
He sits on high in it's vast domain watching all the mentally insane
Now you laugh and party thinking it's all a game
Love it is light and filled with dreams inside the mind
Heaven will be filled with those who lost their way in the night
Heaven isn't to far away closer to it everyday no matter what is said
Like a thief in the night he will come for you
It's best to be ready wearing your wedding garment not to soon
Outside will be the cowardly, liars & those that practice magic arts
We must look forward to the day that Jesus comes your way
It' best to be humble enough to bow the knee to pray
Will you be ready is your faith in him strong & steady
We look forward to a kingdom that they call heaven
For all the lost I beg a coin toss to either heaven or hell
A great story to be shared a faith in Jesus we must tell
While Noah was busy making his ark he had a plan
Even when Lot's wife was turned into a pillar of salt you understand
Faith is the substance of things unseen
My humble parting plea get ready for the great curtain scene
Two will be working in the field one will be taken the other left
Be ready have your candles lit so that you may enter his rest
