Like a Thief Causing Me Grief

Death has entered into my life like a thief Unexpectedly, it has caused a lot of grief. It has taken several lives of my friends away. I miss them very much each day. Death has also claimed lives of my family. Those are the ones that were closest to me. How sad it was to see all of them go. There are fewer friends and family left to know. I realize it's getting closer to the day when I myself will be taken away. Whenever it comes, I will never know. However, I say I'm not afraid to go. April 24, 2021 for Line Gautier's Grief in twelve lines or less

Congratulations on your win. So sad and so true. The longer one lives the more this happens. A wonderful but sad write. I love your line, "However, I say I'm not afraid to go." Heaven is much better than here. Have a blessed day writing away...................
