Like a Poem

It has those binding spirals to hold the pages all together
A beautiful cover with colors; gentle, soothing, and softer.
Those pages have more left to write, more to dig.
And it has a say on the cover in bold “Dream Big.”

I did not dream about you today, and I hardly do these days
I see love and life thriving slowly, with tiny little doorsteps.

On a Saturday, I woke up to start the activity of the day.
I realized, between all my lovely dreams and my dismay,
There is a delicate balance of letting go and dreaming on
Like a poem therein, and I felt grateful for all, I have known.
