Like a House Burning Down

Like a house burning down
I watched my true love turn
Grieving all those memories
Seeing no return

Like a house burning down
I watch our friendship fading
With every little misstep
Another ends' beginning

Like a house burning down
A feeling developing
Your image turns, the feelings stay
My heart slowly mourning

Like a house burning down
My angered soul is blazing
Something thought invincible
Someting once amazing

Like a house burning down
'Till foundation shaking
My love for you is still there
It's the smile that I'm just faking.
