Like a Flower

The future is bright, Rose blossoms
She knows she is beautiful
Nothing will keep her at the bottom
Winds start blowing in a state pitiful

Sad that she begins to wither
Her beauty will soon fade
Because of the harsh weather
Staying strong so she lives to tell

Reminiscing the precious past times
The glorious sun rises.
Wishing to turn back the hands of time
But wishes are not horses.

Will she survive the test of time
Can the clock stop telling the time
So she can have a second chance at life
Aging gracefully, the only option left

Great use of metaphor, I do like poems that use petals as an analogy and you have written this one very well..
