Lights On the Water

lights on the water old shrimp boat coming through strange looking craft with a stranger looking crew they left out yesterday and have not been long a’sailing must have been a death a’board I can hear the seas a’wailing singing songs to the next of kin carrying the seaman's lament on the music of the wind the sails are half lowered as the old boat shambles in and then the deceased is carried home by thin and bony men biding their time ‘til they themselves are carried in.
