Lights Near the Moon

Pinpricks of light
near the moon
              a thousand vibrations
reach us from the 
              lunar landscape
You will learn what you
              must
   if you play according
 to the rules
You will dance under
    bright stars
            if you listen to
the inner voice
      If you know what the clock is saying
          you will realize 
we voyagers in time
        can move beyond the 
known
     see shadows as they 
dance 
      on the breeze 
on the cool breeze 
    which sings like a 
songbird 
even in the deepest 
winter of 
        the soul
