Lightning Mind

You teach me to tether the lightning lit sky
my tendons are terrified, bleach boned and white.
Some bottled up sugar sand crackling with fire.
You snap like a sillouette caught on the wire.

Sleep in the sun of the juggernaut's mind.
Race by yourself and you'll win everytime.
Faster is better and passion's a crime.
It's so easy to laugh when you just want to cry.

So catch all the firefly strings that you want.
Return all the vows that you went out and bought.
Super cold sweat as you kill the disease
and end up in a pool of deceit on your knees.

The lightning can't kill you unless you grab hold.
The world isn't full 'till it's swallowed your soul.
I'll be alone in my Grecian blue pool
just treading the air 'till you tell me you're through.
