Lightning Bugs
Nature’s lightning bugs
fireflies bear own bulbs
from eve to morn
radiating hope*
with Creator's beam…
Lanterns of paradise
exhibiting functionality
fireflies thrive
for ecosystem balance
beyond poetic illumination-role.
*Psalm 39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee.
