Lightly Kissed

Sparkling tiny droplets tinted an amber hue, dribble down a tulip: as trickling drops of dew. Traces of scarlet blush are not easily missed: as if this bashful bloom had just been lightly kissed. Yellow drips from the sun, pooling like liquid gold; gilding satin petals as they slowly unfold. Golden rays of sunlight ink clear translucent cells; and fueled, unfurled buds, morph into waxen bells. As the morning fog starts slowly drifting away, Nature's artistic skills are placed on full display.

absolutely breath taking Emile - I love to see tulips in the garden but unfortunately their petals do not last long in the wind. the imagery of the dew like drops of honey dew made my mouth water!:-) hugs Jan xxx

Thanks Jan, yes their beauty is extraordinary, yet so fleeting, Emile.
