Lighting Bug

Lighting bug
tell me your
secret, how
you carry
your light
with you.
Flying around
giving light in
the night, I
wonder what
happens when it
rains?
Do you go to a
place dry and
warm?
Morning comes
I can't find you
but when night
time awakens
I find you again,
lighting my path,
my way home.

I really like your free verse work. I often wonder about nature and how does the smallest of the world survive when it seems that there is too much rain, cold, or drought but they do survive. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara
