Lighthouse Through the Storm

you a lighthouse standing strong ~ I but a shadow holding on white-capped with devotion mo(o)rning doesn't stand a chance painting our tune seduction brushing off the moon tides turn then tumble pushing through pulling me in towards you a spark burning more, àmor light climbing in a blackened heart no more breathe breath of a dire sea blanketing visions of you thoughts of me silhouettes strapped upon the wall sight unseen ~ never cease wonders all

"One day I wrote her name upon the strand, But came the waves and washed it away: Again I wrote it with a second hand, But came the tide, and made my pains his prey. ‘Vain man,’ said she, ‘that dost in vain assay, A mortal thing so to immortalize; For I myself shall like to this decay, And eke my name be wiped out likewise.’
