Lighthouse

Lighthouse standing on a lonely hill
Lighting the way for ships to come
Keeping them safe from rocks below
So that they may travel near.

How do we find our own lighthouse
To guide us through our sleepy night
As we travel thru the darkness
To the blessed morning light?

He is the light within our soul
If we will only let Him in
To keep us safe from shadows
That haunt us in the night.

Prayer is how we open our mind
To build a lighthouse full of hope
Making our darkness turn into light
If we always keep Him near.

Never thought of God as a Lighthouse. Peace, Love and Joy.
