Light Shines In Darkness

Green and blue in the air,
Emptiness fills a longing soul
Abuse brings the colors of despair,
Painting in my heart the touch of no control.
Then looking into the depth in my eyes,
I see a life craving to stand strong.
And the song in the air makes me cry,
I'm falling slowly from right to wrong.
Eating the bitter fruit of low devotion,
And left in the hands of cruel temptation.
All wrong seems right,
To my wandering mind.
Even when i face the fight
Understanding becomes hard to find
Somewhere i stand between the line
Waiting for my Lord to make me fine
To you O Lord I lift up my soul
Answer me Lord for only you can make me whole
The trouble i am in i know you see it
Reach out to me.
