Light of the Moon
Mystery surrounding the moonlight
Brings various degrees of silence
Deafening in their clarity
Expect to be amazed and yet
Prepare to be saddened
For this is but a brief respite
Under the sky and into the deep
Long night that beckons you
And begs you to stay
Bids you farewell at the waning
And the winding down
But fear not for
The stars will return tomorrow
To their glorious realm
