Light of Death
please shoot your fire arrow, break my breast
and take the dying poison from my chest
then bring your black, remove my painful sight
I plead remove this light, I will not fight
black clouds of thunder bring your ragged knife
cut through the silver lining of my life
cancer the light from this bright burning day
just spread the black over my bed and stay
cold pain my escort, time for us to end
a cut so quick, so long my faithful friend
the storm inside has come to rest in me
my river meets its fall, and now it’s free
black is the night and cold the hard ice floor
love light has left and pain it is no more
