Light In the Darkness

Dangerous days, fractured families, hardened hearts At His feet is where the healing starts Father God, Blessed Savior, Light of the Universe Humble me Lord, so I walk your way, not mine Help me release the desire for control And experience life divine It isn't about who is strongest or biggest or loudest It's not who has the most toys when they die That's more than a sales pitch, more than a bumper sticker, more than misguided It's a dangerous lie Some will sell you a dream as reality While they sell their souls and give the devil his due Now matter how they ply you with sweet talk and promises Don't give in, don't let it happen to you People will tell you it's not a big deal You really haven't got anything to lose But in the end there's only heaven and hell It all depends on the path you choose
