Light and Darkness

Keep your heart, keep your mind straight
Be real to yourself and know those around you
Dear Lord please tell me the way forward
My path is full of darkness though the sun shines above
My feet walk on different shoes
Though am drunk my mind still leads me home
Am intelligent to the book though stupid to the world
Light and darkness tell me of your similarity and differences
Life and death is a no discussion, my days are numbered
Have to be thankful and live today for tomorrow am not promised
Each time I get salvation I find myself sinning
Each man has a woman hope that day comes
They tell me am cursed yet the blessings around me are evident
If love ever had a notice I will be the first to evict
Music heals the evil within the heart
Prayer keeps our faith strong for those who believe
Light and darkness is a mystery to man-kind.
