Light
To the only person I’ll never let down.
Wear all my flaws and imperfections as crown.
The one whom will always be safe and sound,
as long as I am and am around.
To the one that will never see me weak,
even when I’m brought down to my knees.
Who will never leave and will always believe,
to the person I’ll live for and I’ll never deceive.
To the one who I want to be better than me.
To the soul, that I’ll always lift,
for her existence a God’s gift.
To the person I’ll want to breathe,
and be just as they want to be.
To you, whose smile’s worth honor.
To that person and no other.
For she’ll know I always got her,
this right here’s to my future daughter.
