Lifting Up and Casting Down

Living in a world of contrasts
nothing ever remains the same
every day's different from each other
whether to praise or casting blame

It's a good thing to give praise
help those that's down to get up
it makes you feel better yourself
even giving a poor soul your cup

But there's other side of the coin
those that love to dish out blame
it's always somebody else's fault
gratifying self is their little game

So to always blame is so selfish
living in your little world so vain
learn to give other's your attention
help them up give hope to attain

Make it your aim to be positive
live making that your life goal
stop casting down other folk
Just lift up even one poor soul
