Lifting High
In this beginning,
Which we have a seed
Ultimate wisdom being within.
Water it with the rain of hopes
And the sunshine of the dream
To you I have faith in, called by God.
Throw caution and reason into the sea
Unburdened by my faults within
I trust the time you put into me.
Spark of glory this spirit of principle
It’s light that's pure simplicity
I feel you lifting me higher from pale humankind
Worries of my heart lifted out of the abyss
Living in forgiveness of never feeling crushed
Having a chance to bind with your soul
Look toward the future living in calm
No panic of being left all alone
Being a graduated part of you
In delight I cling to this
Longing for rest in the arms of your thought.
