The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Lift Your Head, Dad

You have lost her Dad,
A feeling know one can tell but you.
All we have is sympathy,
So we hand it to you in love.
The day is gloom,
But tomorrow will glow.
She was and will forever be your dearest Eve.
I know that time and events,
Will kick your wound,
And make you recall.
Yes recall,
All those moments shared with her,
Both the sweet and bitter.
But in it's mist,
Thank God for the time shared,
And His granting of her peaceful rest.
It will never be the same without her.
But also remember,
That you would have been nothing,
But for her.
A Single parent's sweat,
Now at rest.
