Lift Your Chin and Get Going

Never ever get scared by the insinuations
Of the self-serving; exasperating groups
When your conscience is clear, be firm
Lift your chin and get going ahead.

There are people who possess expertise
In pulling legs of those who endeavour
Never mind their murmurs and taunts
Lift your chin and get going ahead.

Though the route arduous and tiresome
It’s like walking on a razors’ edge; sharp
When the aim is noble, you find the path
Lift your chin and get going ahead.

Never lose sight of your resolve sublime
Come what may, be steady on the track
With kindly light as your guiding spirit
Lift your chin and get going ahead.
