Lift Me O Spring's Air
Lift me O spring's
air
And leave me there
The crazy cloud
is
veiling
Like the heaven's
gigantic-rocks'
gate;
I shall smile at in the
distance
And wave my
hands
The guard-angels
wearing long
flowery
gown.
Then leave me
there
Across the snowy
forests
In the far north
In gaints' world:
I have heard many
a time
From my maternal-
grandfather
That in the winters'
mornings
and evenings
Young fairies fly
to Tarsar
And bath naked--
Dip deep and swim
And fetch in
gardens-urns
The icy blue
water.
(Tarsar
is
a
lake
in
kashmir,
across
the
dense
high
forests in a meadow
beside
a mountain)
