What a beautifully well crafted and integrated write here my friend! I just loved the way you wove into your poem the lifelong friendship of the sun and the Earth! They were created at the same time, and they have always been the best of friends...but don't forget the moon! He always gets left out in the cold, to be alone in the dark! The moon is my muse! I really enjoyed reading your illustrious piece this morning! What an ingenious poem, Great Work my friend!!

Russell, I was thinking along the lines of a romantic relationship in this work and the earth and sun are only metaphors for people..Yes, the earth and moon have a very important relationship...Our grandson was saying that the dark side and light side of the moon this week looked like someone took a straight edge ruler and drew the line onto it..Thanks for dropping by..Sara

Andrea, No the cinquain doesn't need to be rhymed but it just happened that way..I posted it on a site where it had to five lines and theme Friendship the rhyming just happened..Thanks for stopping by..Sara
