Life's Weather System

Energy is in the sky
Lightning flashes by
An angry sword
Nature’s electric chord
Is it a show?
A temper tantrum dangerous throw
White on black
Weather attack
Shatters and crack
Dark clouds map the track
Stops everything on the ground
Shelter needs to be found
Then the rain
Roaring down like a freight train
Taking away clear visibility
Sight has no ability
Slowly travel
Listening to the Godly gavel
Thundering rocks
Heard down many blocks
It is a sound
Throughout the town
Leaving warning
When pouring
“You down there
I do care
Think for the next hour
As the storm unleashes its power”
When it is done
Calmness claims it has won
A rainbow may appear
Filled with colors to cheer
Brightening the day
That had something to say
Getting things off its chest
Moving on leaving behind a scene that rests
Resulting from this childish outburst
Many enjoy the grateful thirst
While others hide feeling cursed
Turning off the evening lamp
Interpreting the message, ‘everything is damp’
Enjoy tomorrow’s sun
Filled with special warmth and loving fun
In a world where true emotions are welcome
