Life’s Unexpected Hurtles
We are in a race,
for our very existence.
It is about the idea,
that we are here to live and die,
and die…
Forever is a long time.
God is real.
There is only the truth
of that fact,
You can not escape,
what, is not possible.
On the fence,
“I can think about it later”,
Yet ultimately,
impaled on indecision.
It is the same,
as an eternal end.
Your own life so important,
others so much less.
Your money rising,
your soul losing it’s
viscosity.
The oil that runs a business,
The blood within our veins,
courses to make the dollars,
we clutch closely,
until the shadow of death,
releases our grasp.
Uncontrolled things,
no boundaries, no rules,
Payments made for the repentant,
but not for denial.
You will be alone,
you will be with others,
you will wish that,
you were not.
