Life's Too Short

They say that life's too short
And now I understand
Each year that passes by
And I become an older man
The things that I have done
The choices I have made
Are often times regretted
I failed to make the grade
We can never un-do
The mistakes of yesterday
But we can purpose in our mind
That tomorrow's another day
We can strive to be
The very best we can
And willingly and knowingly
Choose to make a stand
To change the things
That we can change
To make our future bright
And with God in Heaven
As our guide
It just might turn out right

It is my opinion if we made the correct decision every time life would soon become boring. Love the poem.
