Life's Soup

Issues are to life like a pen is unto paper,
Refreshing and suffocating as it pushes man to the wall,
With our hearts and minds the engineers of our labor,
Thinking and pondering about our strengths and flaws,
Happiness flows with the richness of honey, refreshing the mind,
building up our weak limbs to reach for life's pride,
That the radiance of hope makes failure's sight go blind,
Being intoxicated with new aspirations,we pride in life's ride,
But by time the smooth road of fulfillment gets rough,
As what we lay claim unto gets out of reach,
Leaving room for anguish as life's bread becomes tough,
Breaking down the foundations of love and building a breach,
Making living sour as it spreads bitter paste,
For like soup, life has varying taste,

A complex and amazing poem, describes so well the personalities, the issues raised, the strengths and weaknesses among being people in general...even among the soupers here....either spreading honey, or bitter paste...the choices we make. Well done....
