Life’s Purpose
What is my purpose?
I am here on this mighty earth
Living my journey.
There is a routine from day to day,
But something is missing.
No matter what I do,
There is always something more
I should be doing, but a mystery...
Searching for what has not been discovered.
The life I lead is not the life of my destiny.
My soul searches, but feels lost at times.
Where will this lead, these thoughts of mine?
When will I know that what I’ve discovered
Is what I’ve been looking for?
When will the restlessness of my being
Bring me satisfaction, peace & contentment?
So many plans, so many dreams....
Marvelous adventures yet to experience.
These are my yearnings as I follow my daily routine
Again I ask myself, what is my purpose?
