Lifes' Mystery

Sitting here wandering why.
Life must be so cruel.
To play the game of give and take
And me turn out the fool.
To seek not find, to want never get.
Let me lose my mind,
God let me win this bet.
The lessons You've tried to teach,
I have always tried to learn.
Yet happiness, stays just out of reach
Will it ever be my turn?
I have always cared for others,
And never questioned why.
Lord now I am so tired,
To tired to even try.
Tired of the loneliness.
Tired of a tortured heart.
Tired of the emptiness,
This Pain is tearing me apart.
I don't want to just exist,
If Life holds nothing for me.
The eagle soars on high,
My soul is finally free.
