Life's Mountains

Life isn't always easy, Its mostly rough.
This sounds cheesy, but it makes us tough.
Life seems like a mole hill, but really - we are facing a mountain.

We don't fret when we get out of bed.
Instead we proclaim boldly
"I will defeat you mountain!
Want to take that bet?"

It is all an illusion.
Its a lie we believe.
In our hearts we are scared
and we pray for relief.

We show the world we are men without fear.
But inside we are boys longing for dads to keep us near.

We need guidance,
we are lost.
A fatherless generation
comes with a cost!
