Life's Many Journey's

Looking back to the day we met, I see a girl that I'll never forget. She was petite and frail and full of smiles, Who would have thought she would travel so many miles. She felt alone and misguided in her journey through life, Thought know one would notice her tears and her strife. She traveled down one path to no avail, Then another again just to fail. She was so blinded by her friends peer pressures, That she quickly lost site of those things she treasured. Up one hill just to stumble back down, Not noticing who it was that lifted her body from the ground. Confused and hurt by what she thought life had dealt her, She got into one thing after another. Decisions were made that she would later regret, People who loved her she tried to forget Lost and alone she cried out in pain, Tears began to fall like drops of rain. She had gone as far as her body would allow, She was left with no choice but to turn back now. Paula Denise Cosner
