Life's Glossy Wound

Winter echoes down the highway
Screaming cars past my window
Dry thoughts rouse my eyes
In the quiet thunder of darkness

Ghosts whisper colors into my mind
Drowning dreams in deadly air
Sweat takes its last breath
And life’s glossy wound sings on

A superb freeverse as yor muse employs the scene to convey a mood and poetic effects. Wow! Pls review my latest poem too.
