Life's Confusion

I often sat and wondered
Why this superior species suffered
And therefore i somehow discovered
That through the emotions we harboured
We often find ourselves cornered
With our hearts in the open, uncovered
And found sometimes they differed
These few precious moments that we savoured
But they left our pride un-honoured
While others were left mean tempered
Another group just sat and pondered
Over the life they had been rendered
Some just gave up and surrendered
But life continued to be unhampered

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
