Life's Boat
a single solitary boat
is how some choose to stay afloat
but in life's sea which can be blue
you need a friend to row with you
I have a friend that headed out alone this Summer to prepare for writing a cook book called #TheAdventureCookbook. He took a picture of this lake with a solitary boat on it which inspired me to write this poem. I'm on Facebook if anyone cares to take a gander. His name is Jay Phelan if ya'll care to look him up.
