Lifelong Stories

You and I
Suicide
Never knowing what it means
To bleed
Never touching the dreams
You need
Just bleed

Thoughts glimpse inside
Glimpse inside the mind
They say you’re nothing
Hide your worth
They say you’re nothing
Dead from birth

We all want to be
Want to be
What they want us to be
We all wanna see
Wanna see the light
Open up your eyes
See inside the light
This is our story
Give God the glory

Down the medication
Take it all in
Put another line inside the wrist
Maybe it’ll block out the fist
What does this life even mean
What is a happy dream

We all want to be
Want to be
What they want us to be
We all wanna see
Wanna see the light
Open up your eyes
See inside the light
This is our story
Give God the glory

Lovers seem to fade
Fade into the grey
Families tear apart
Rip out your heart
No one seems to care
If you go no where
No one seems to cry
If you sleep at night

We all want to be
Want to be
What they want us to be
We all wanna see
Wanna see the light
Open up your eyes
See inside the light
This is our story
Give God the glory

Thoughts glimpse inside
Glimpse inside the mind
They say you’re nothing
Hide your worth
They say you’re nothing
Dead from birth

Just run
Run away
Death is not the end
Heaven send
There’s something greater
In the air
God we need you now
There must be more
More than this

 We all want to be
Want to be
What they want us to be
We all wanna see
Wanna see the light
Open up your eyes
See inside the light
This is our story
Give God the glory
