Lifeline
Listen to poem:
the power
of a single word
of encouragement
a single moment
that to the core
transforms your life
launching it
in new directions
one surprise after another
life full of such moments
each lifeline looking
much more like a zigzag
than a line
a series of
linked tangents
a sequence of
nothing inconsequential
found in the power
of a single word
