Lifeless

She sits at a little window
Her dark eyes staring over the horrizon
Her arms are aching
She clings to herself so much
A single tear runs down her cheek
The only evidence of pain that is shown
Staring out the window she want
A secret wanting that none can know
She takes the knife beside her thigh
And carves her name with the glass
Twisting her wrist
She gives a cry of pain
Falling silent
With a a soft thud she hits the floor
Her dark eyes empty
And the window is stained with blood.
