Lifeless
You don't hear what I say behind these words
Words of pain and disappointment that flood my heart and make me feel
So SMALL
So INVISIBLE
So WORTH-less
I pour out the contents of my soul only to get a blank stare in return
as if you were listening
But you're only waiting for me to finish
so you can get on with yourself
The only person you’ve ever truly cared about
To feel so loved and abandoned in the same breath
Shows that you've never known love before
and you probably never will
