Lifeforce

Verdant hills distant,
Thirst quenched by skies vigor force-
      Life begins anew.

5th place in Rick's "Rain as a gift" contest.

*What I see every spring as I look at the horizon
of hills and pastures, rain is a blessing for those
who keep horses and farms. Green
everywhere. An incredible sight, life giving for
all of nature and her creatures.

It's raining here today in Washington State. We have a reputation of always having rain but actually in summers we get less than New York city. We welcome it. Good luck in the contest. Love, Joyce
