Life-Cycles

In K-5, K-8 or K-12 is drained
    the curiosity from eager brains

Then off to college most folks go
where Truth is disseminated from Moscow

  A nursing home's a spruced-up jail
from which residents would love to bail ...

In between, we're on the job every day
    where we're overworked and underpaid

We must look to the bright side of heaven where we will see God’s glory and leave this all behind. Though first we must experience the valley of the shadow of death.

One step at a time... Gotta get through the 'whole process first.' Then comes the good stuff! :)

years ago someone suggested putting the elderly in prisons where they'd get three meals, free, top quality health care, and transportation....and send the prisoners to the nursing homes.

Sounds like a plan to me, John. Only now the immigrants will get first dibs on the prisons. lol.

I am trying my best to stay out of jail, however, spruced up it may be. Lol!

A really good idea, Shirley! Stay out of the 'convalescent center' as well... No No not-the-nursing-home!

It is sad that we have a tedious life cycle. After the years of hardwork we get jailed in a nursing home at the end.... the stark realities of life!

Seems unfair, doesn't it?! I guess we just live too long for our own good. Laugh & Cry
