Life-A Game

This world is a stage and men profound actors,
Life is nothing but exchange of joy and sorrow.
It is a combination of lend and borrow,
It depends upon trust and faith,
But it is an irony that except money and gain,
Everything we hate.

I believe life is not an act but it's a game,
A game devised and run by the almighty as a user.
To end his monotony, sitting in the heaven he plays,
We just as characters fit to his game,
With our lives and deaths,
Like the game of Super Mario he plays.

We are simply the puppets of his hand,
He makes us sit, makes us stand.
He gives us birth, gives ambitions and glory,
He controls us well, plays the game hard,
Concerned about our life more than we are.

We pass the stages of life one by one,
He takes our care more than anyone,
Then at last with valiant efforts
We get the queen of our dreams,
Unlike the game of Super Mario our life still streams.
As the increasing power of desire one cannot sustain,
And one fine day it ends with no gain, and only pain
On the Almighty's screen it displays 'TRY AGAIN'.
