We die-hards will never adjourn
From news stories t-rump can churn 
With tongue proudly forked
And a dick that's uncorked
He'll bone us cause we can't discern

So clever the way "t-rump" sounds like a dinosaur (like a T-Rex). Though I changed my voter registration to Republican so I could support my friend Marco Rubio in the 2016 presidential primary, I have just cast my absentee ballot for 2018. Was so fed up with the political games we've been seeing that I just voted straight Democrat. Obama had integrity and that's a quality we need in our leaders. Well written, Duke. With the exception of some democratic candidates who are not taking corporate contributions and huge sums of money from special interests, the candidates can’t represent our best interests over the long term.

Carolyn, I think the reason we have T-rump (reptile/dinosaur) was because the Democrats wanted a coronation rather than a fair set of primaries. The party officials were and many still are concerned about themselves rather than the citizens. Pelosi also is responsible. It’s not about having a woman as president. It’s about having honesty and integrity.

Hello Duke, From looking at your spread of Limericks and other works, it looks like I shall become one of your more constant readers. Your "life with t-rump XXXVI" reminded me that "Stormy Daniels'" book "Full Disclosure" has just been released. According to the Trumpster, "He never had sex with 'that woman.'" The boning metaphor goes way beyond, of course, the sexual act per se, and into the realm of his lunatic actions which impact all of us. "Flim-Flam Supremus" this man is!! Cheers, Gary

Gary, we have enough people who missed the boat who were targeted by a very talented group of pollsters and the Russians. Combined with a poorly run democratic race we have what we have. So I will try to read your poems. I am on a vacation from work this week so I had the energy to read and write a bit. You are a very talented writer.

So true Duke... One of the things he is definitely doing is exposing the worse in us...all that was hidden is coming out... Maybe the road of trump would never be taken again if we survive...

Yes, and we are all wondering what happened to Melania? She must be in really bad shape. The jokes on Bill Maher were that she was present at the North Korean prisoner exchange. Also, last seen with the president holding a shovel. Either that or she was deported as an illegal. We have a real character in charge. He's been very lucky so far, but he is pushing his luck with tariffs.
