Life Today and Tomorrow
Life is long,
But then again its short.
It's as simple,
Yet just as complicated as a song.
To think things through,
Is to not be able to "go with the flow".
To follow the rules,
Yet they say you have freedom?
It doesn't make sense
If you wonder about the future,
Because you never know
If you're going to live till the next day.
Worry about today,
Instead of tomorrow.
Because tomorrow is not what you're living,
Today is, for it is the present.
Life has its ups and downs,
But don't live each day with a frown.
You have to face the challenges of every day,
Instead of cowering and hiding away.
