Life These Days
Do you really want to know about life these days?
We all know that life is not what it use to be. There
are a lot of people wirhout work, a lot of crime and
a lot of senior citizens that can't afford to live on their
S.S. check. The medications are too expensive.
Back in the day - my day. Life was more simple. We
didn't have all the commodities that we have today.
People worked hard, but still found time to have fun
and spend time with their famlies. people showed their
love for eachother. Life was lived at at a slower pace.
These days - people are always in a hurry to get
somewhere, even if they don't know where they are
going. A lot of the kids these days, don't have any
family values, or moral standards.
Back in the day - we listened to our parents and respected
them. These days the kids don't know the meaning of the
word. These days - people don't care much about other
people. They don't lend a helping hand.
These days - young kids and even grownups spend more time
on their cell phones, or their computers, instead of with their
famlies, or doing something productive. Kids these days think
that the world owes them something. Nobody said life was easy,
we all have to do our part.
They tell me that it's the New Millenium. I say that decency and
respect still keep being the same. Life these days is a mess and
we need to clean it up...
