Life Stages

Life starts out with all sorts of promises
and opportunities,
We think it is enough to do our duty,
The efforts we exude either reaps success

We continue to toil away nevertheless,
Always hoping to see a light at the end
of the tunnel,
Saving ourselves from the messes we have created
over a lifetime,
Then we assess our progress and realize,
that life is a cycle of repitition,
which only confuses our minds
and deters our personal vision,
constantly living in uncertainty,
never knowing if our dreams will
be set free......
