Life Questions

What is a soul
But a hoped for longevity

What is the afterlife
But a wish to live for eternity

What is a god
But someone to look out for me

What is religion
But a fraternity

What is understanding
But how you see me and I see you

What is humanity
But all of us living and sometimes getting along

What is life
But a memory filled journey

What is peace
But interaction without worry

What is love
But feelings that contradict your psyche

What is hatred
But loves' enthusiastic foe

What is a conscience
But a check on selfish tyranny

What are memories
But time capsules buried occasionally

What is faith
But anxiety about tomorrow

What is laughter
But a cleanser of souls

And finally

What are truths
But imperfect understandings of our world
